Lisa Read
Quality Champion at The Pizza Factory
I joined The Pizza Factory in 2004 and worked as an operative for 10 years, I then trained as an FPA (finished product auditor). My current role is Quality Champion, I ensure that the quality standards are met for finished products, that raw material defects are raised appropriately to the raw materials team and investigate any ‘out of specification’ products. I get involved with onsite customer visits and take part in panels with the head of Technical, working alongside the process team for upcoming trials and new product launches. I also coach our new colleagues at induction. Daily challenges would include communicating quality consistency with new colleagues and overcoming any language barriers.

Craig Tomkinson

A graduate of the Said Business School, Craig started his career as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and then had commercial finance roles with Whitbread and Tesco, before joining 2 Sisters in 2010, becoming Finance Director, UK Poultry in 2012. He left 2 Sisters in 2016 to start online home delivery meals business Thyme, of which Craig is still a director, but now operates with a new management team.
